This bird feeder with roof protection that you can hang with the two (2) hooks supplied with the kit. Perforations located at various spots allow water drainage and quick dry time after rainfalls or showers. This bird feeder is built from white pine and is supplied with an edge around it to prevent seeds from falling over due to strong winds or bird movements.  A roof also protects the nourishment against bad weather (wind, rain, snow) .
