Black-capped Chickadee, Poecile atricapillus
Widespread in the USA and Canada. It is found in small flocks in deciduous and coniferous woods. It breeds between early April in the Southern USA to mid-May in Canada. It feeds mainly on small insects and seeds (sunflower seeds, nuts, fat, and suet at feeders).
This birdhouse is easy to clean and install. It is recommended to put one or two inches of wood chips in the bottom at each spring cleaning.
