Eastern Phoebe, Sayornis phoebe
This species very frequently uses man-made structures (buildings, barns, window ledges) to build its nest. Our birdhouse perfectly suits this species. The Phoebe is found at forest edges, on farms, near flowing water, etc. Nesting period extends from mid-April to mid -May. The Phoebe feeds on insects.
